• Q1: How many transmitter supplies can be short-circuited simultaneously?

A: Up to 12 transmitter supplies can be short-circuited at the same time. If more than 12 supplies are short-circuited for longer than 3 seconds, the entire transmitter supply for the module is switched off. If the overload disappears within 30 seconds, the supply is automatically switched back on.

• Q2: What are the default open-circuit and short-circuit thresholds?

A: Per NAMUR Recommendation NE 43:
Open-circuit (OC Limit): 3.6 mA (36,000 digits) – channel LED turns OFF
Short-circuit (SC Limit): 21.3 mA (213,000 digits) – channel LED blinks (Blinking2)
Both thresholds are configurable in SILworX.
